To start the game, each player gets dealt four answer cards marked A, B, C, and D. But be warned, these cards are categorized by their level of controversy: “Youngin'” for those who still got growing to do, “Grown-ish” for those who can handle a little spice, “Woke” for those who are ready to call out the BS, and “Rhetorically Blackity Black” for the fearless ones who aren’t afraid to say what everyone else is thinking.
Once the host reads out a question, players have 30 seconds to choose their answer card. And if nobody can agree on the top answer, it’s time to bring out the big guns and debate it out.
That’s right, players have 2-3 minutes to go head-to-head and prove why their answer is the right one. And if you want to score some extra points, make sure to bring out the receipts, drop a mic, or clap back like a boss.
And let’s not forget the optional twist. Who says the game has to be predictable? With a wild card, anything goes. Are you ready to answer a question with the opposite of your beliefs or take a shot of something spicy before answering? Yeah, we thought so.
These questions are designed to spark lively debates and discussions, but here’s the deal, nobody can tell you what’s right or wrong. How Do You Play Rhetorically Black The Game?
The game is simple distribute the response cards to all players. Everyone should have 4 answer cards marked A,B,C,D in their hand. Each participant should take a turn hosting and reading a question card out loud. After reading the question, the host will instruct the players to flip their answer cards over revealing their choices.
Who Won? ‘Majority Wins’ : The answer selected by the majority of players. (4 Players, 3 say ‘A’ then ‘A’ wins) If there is a tie, one representative from each side will have 60 seconds to argue their choice, the game host makes the call on which answer wins.
